about our club

Tralee Boxing Club is a wholly volunteer run, not for profit, community organisation that has been serving the town of Tralee for almost 90 years. Dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion, and guided by the principles of hard work, fairness and respect, the obiective of our club is to provide all people of our community with a means to enrich their physical, mental and social wellbeing through the sport of boxing, as well as to pass on a high level of boxing experience, knowledge and skills to upcoming boxers who aspire to compete at the highest levels of the sport.

Your Community Club One of our core beliefs, is that everyone deserves to get a game regardless of ability. We pursue the ideal of breeding Champions both inside and outside the ring. We are committed to creating a real sense of belonging for all our members and consistently work with a wide variety of local community groups, in order to provide meaningful and sustained access to sport for people who are often overlooked by mainstream sports. Tralee Boxing Club has for an number of years, and continues to dedicate boxing outreach programmes to women, people with additional needs, migrants, the Travelling Community, Islamic Ladies, the elderly local schools, and third level colleges, to name but a few. We have a huge waiting list for these programmes

Without the dedicated support and involvement of the people of our community, our club could not continue to provide this space for young people and adults of all ages to grow and develop their confidence and abilities, and enjoy the myriad of benefits of being involved in sports.
